This project is the visual expression of my desire to contribute to the process of providing access to Nigerian legal information. Obviously, with the unprecedented breathtaking developments in information and communications technology (ICT), it is impossible to have good access to information (which includes law resources) without the use of the Internet. Like most developing countries, Nigeria lacks access to legal information due to the absence of appropriate databases on the Internet. Challenged by this unfortunate and unacceptable situation, Nigerian Law Resources is committed to providing the unique online gateway to different aspects of Nigerian legal information. My passion for this venture arose from the indisputable finding of my Master of Laws (LLM) Dissertation at the University of Huddersfield titled, "Public Access to Legislation and Its Inherent Human Rights: A Comparative Study of the United Kingdom and Nigeria" (2006) that Nigeria lacks access to legal information.
