He has received several national and global recognitions including the 2018 International Bar Association (IBA) Human Rights Lawyer of the Year and 2021 American Bar Association (ABA) International Human Rights Award.
As international law expert, Adeola has graced the African Union, the United Nations organizations’ UNESCO, and UNDP, UN-HABITAT speaking platforms across many countries of the world in the thematic areas of law, social innovation, human rights and rule of law. He has proffer solutions to humanitarian law issues in many African countries including sovereign immunity, state-to-state obligations and enforcement, treaty interpretation.
