Skadden tops list of strongest law firm brands
Brand research company Acritas has compiled a list of the strongest brands in the US and global legal services market. Their study, which surveyed 902 clients, of which 667 were headquaretered in the US, found that the top brand in the market Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, followed by Jones Day, Kirkland & Ellis, Sidley Austin, and Wachtell, Lipton Rosen & Katz.
Despite firms’ efforts to establish national and international presences, there were a number of regional trends. In the western region, for instance, Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, Latham & Watkins, and Morrison & Foerster scored the highest, while in the south, three Texas firms—Baker Botts, Fulbright & Jaworski and Vinson & Elkins—vied with Skadden and Jones Day for most mentions.
