UK firms DWF and Cobbetts finally announce plans to merge
UK firms DWF and Cobbetts have finally announced their plans to merge in May, after unconfirmed reports circulated about the tie-up since November, when the domain name dwfcobbetts.com was registered. At the time, Cobbetts claimed unconvincingly that the website registration had been the work of an "over-zealous IT worker" and that, although the firm was in the market for a merger, the domain name didn't really signify anything.
It appears that the merger won’t be a simple affair, with a number of Cobbetts partners, including managing partner Michael Shaw, reported to be opting out of the DWF Cobbetts alliance.
